Positive Comments: That is a wickedly cool horn solo (can’t tell if trumpet or trombone). Passionate vocal performance with some up to date real life blues lyrics. Tasty guitar work, and very nice answering vocals. Nice work!!!

Constructive Comments: The key bass is a key “band in a box” sound, and the drums are pretty static too. Get a real bass on it, and don’t use cheesy tom toms –EZ drummer is an inexpensive and fantastic way to get an authentic drum track.

Positive Comments: This has a lot of potential. Beautiful changes and progressions. Love the percussion and bass in the mix. Saxophone is nice and the synth and keyboard create a nice feel to this song. Good job.

Constructive Comments: Even though the sax is your lead instrument, you may want to bring down the volume of it just a little. It seems to overpower the rest of your instruments quite a bit. Also, maybe bring down your high end a bit and raise your mid and low range a little in the mix to create a better balance. It is very difficult to get the exact sound you want when you are using midi and synth. I know because that is where I am at right now with my music right now. But, this would sound amazing with live instrumentation. But I think that if you tweek your mix levels a little, this song will be just fine. Great piece.

Positive Comments: I love the Latin/Jimmy Buffet sound to this. Nice groove and rhythm. Instrumental choics are perfect for this song. Great keyboard entrance and performance. You have done a pretty good job on this song and it has great potential.

Constructive Comments: The vocals are good but they need a little work. I think they could be a little stronger in areas. I also would have loved to hear more vocals on this piece as well. Other than that, this is a terrific song. Tremendous job on this…keep writing!

Positive Comments: Nicely done. This reminds me a little of music by Vincent Guarldi. Very smooth and flowing. Love the piano chording and the sax lead. Very beautiful piece indeed.

Constructive Comments: I’m not sure if it was intended, but there are a couple of spots in the song where there’s a break in the song…possibly a glitch? I can’t get back into the player to play your song again to get the exact points. Secondly, This piece sounds like it’s in a 3/4 or 6/8 times signature but the drums seem to be in a 4/4 time signature. It works,but the song would really take off if the drums were to match the rhythm of the instrumentation. Thirdly, I feel the bass comes in a little hot in the mix when it is introduced. Bringing the volume down a bit will help your mix a little. You have.a great piece here it just needs a little tweaking. Great job.

Positive Comments: This reminded me of the 90s era of music where fun melodies and uncomplicated riffs made so much music consumable. Biggest positive for me was actually the buttoned ending. Coming from someone that struggles on how to end songs, this ended perfectly. I really enjoyed the overall melodic structure and upbeat vibe as well. Great job!

Constructive Comments: Typically I may comment on how one may improve a mix or tone, truly the era this song vibes from is when recordings got good but were still imperfect. Today’s music on a productional level is almost too perfect and having something like this with human element still in it is a nice change.

Positive Comments: I really enjoyed this groove. The lead melodies stayed interesting and the overall mix is on point. Specifically the panning and arrangement stuck out as very well thought out and added a nice sparkle to an already great piece of work. The synth guitar solo was unexpected as well as a pleasant vary from the solid tone that was already patched in. Overall great work and I hope to hear more from you in the future.

Constructive Comments: I usually try and give at least one constructive piece of feedback but I truly could not find one for this track. This is my first all 5 review! Keep up the good work.
