Positive Comments: This is a very creative and interesting song, a real head-scratcher. It seems to have different movements or sections and they are all related to a theme of sin, savior and some kind of redemption. This is probably one of the strangest and most original pieces I have ever reviewed on Broadjam. The mind of the composer must be quite complex! Probably some real creative genius in there! There are some really catchy parts to this song, but they are here and there. The composer/vocalist gets high marks for sincerity in delivery/performance.

Constructive Comments: I’m 64 and I had a hard time getting this to be cohesive in my brain. Is this song about Jesus Christ? There are some lyrics that made me think, yeah, it’s about Him. But there’s a lot I am not sure about. I hope you posted the lyrics, because after I post this review, I plan to read them and see if I can make more sense out of it.

Positive Comments: This track made me smile. It’s kind of jangly…seems to almost have a Cajun feel to it. I like the easy-going guitar intro, it’s fun to listen to. “Heartbeats on the ground” – nice lyric. “But I can’t do that now, can I?” I liked that one too. The guitar playing is creative, a lot of good back and forth stuff going on there, interesting! The guitar really speaks in this song, and it’s humorous. You’ve got some nice harmonies in there. Fun outro!

Constructive Comments: I would recommend working on the lyrics a bit…just to inject a bit more unity and originality. The most glaring one was say/don’t go away. At times the vocals got a bit muddy in the mix and I could not understand them. When you went up high on Dixieland, you nearly went out of your range. I just have to ask…is this a band or one guy putting together the whole thing in the studio? I tend to think the latter. Just guessing!

Positive Comments: All this track lacks is a movie to be in. It’s a beautiful soundtrack. It evokes feelings of tenderness in the sweet spots and anticipation of excitement, almost a royal feeling in the build-ups. The shimmery drums are excellent! There’s an element of “Disney-wonder” to this track. The horn is a very nice sample. Great job!

Constructive Comments: Why oh why that strange ending? I loved it till that sci-fi sound came in. It was totally out of character for the song. Fix the ending! Bring up the piano in the mix in the beginning. It was drowned out.

Positive Comments: This track has a great clean crisp guitar intro, and shows an incredibly good groove, with a strong arrangement and quality instrumentation throughout. I feel there is a good market for this kind of alt-Country/Americana style of music which crops up more often nowadays, and this song could be a very strong contender.

Constructive Comments: I feel maybe the hook needs to be a little stronger, and there should maybe be a dynamic lift between the verse and chorus section. The vocals show a great tone, but I find the lyrics to be somewhat indistinct, maybe they could have been a little higher in the mix, to showcase the voice more effectively. Maybe an adjustment in the mix is all it takes, but there is some excellent work here, and it needs to be highlighted more.
