Positive Comments: Clever idea for a very typical scenario “boy and girl back together”. The tune has an Eagles, Sawyer Brown or Zac Brown feel. Very nice fiddle work and your nasty wind offers a great visual for lots of options of what that storm is or was. Your hook is very prevalent. I really enjoyed this song and look forward to hearing more from you.

Constructive Comments: Overall I think you have a clever tune but I was hoping for a little brighter “getting back together” ending. It’s a great place for your finale to grow musically and vocally. Although the hook is prevalent I had to listen to it numerous times because of clarity of what you were actually saying, it’s there, just a little hard to find or understand.

Positive Comments: A well defined hook in the chorus. The overall feel of the song was relaxing and easy to listen to. It flowed well. Instrumentation wise the harp and the pedal steel were well presented. Overall it was a nice arrangement, good transitions between the verse and chorus. Overall had a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band feel to it. Nice job.

Constructive Comments: The vocal pitch in a couple areas was close but not quite on. The feel and the tempo seemed to drag just a bit and maybe could have used a little more punch or brightness. Vocally you have a good sounding voice but it seems to come off more like Dean Martin maybe either you, or another singer could put a little more country feel/sound to the vocals. These are not criticisms, just ideas. I think it is a catchy tune and look forward to hearing more from you.

Positive Comments: I really enjoy your use of non-repetitive grooves as well as good placement with how your instruments are panned. At first I thought that may be a 3rd guitar in the Right channel but on second take I think it may be a keyboard. Nice use of free flowing melodies.

Constructive Comments: For constructive feedback, I may would have dialed out a little of the wetness from the tone of the guitar in the left channel. There were minor spots where the lead guitar could have used a second pass for a cleaner take but truth be told, most music is way too perfect now and to have a little human element in recordings can be a breath of fresh air.
