Positive Comments: recording and vocals are decent. harmonies are good. sounds like a one-man show to me, which is fine. I like the panning just before the break. cool. guitar tone is nice. I can imagine this in a film somewhere for sure.
Constructive Comments: not much to add here. I feel like there’s something missing, but I can’t put my finger on it, so it must not be that big a deal!! keep it comin!

Song: Blue Moon’s Light
Reviewer: The Dots
Positive Comments: This song holds my interest. It has a number of different “parts,” yet they match well. Very Dylan-esque/The Band qualities. The guitar tone is really well done. Vocal phrasing and control is well-done. The lyrics are good, I like the line about the “sun is gonna shine again, I just can’t say when.” That captures an element of uncertainty that everyone can relate too.
Constructive Comments: I really like the song, the product was a little too “clean” for me when I think of roots rock, I think of something a little bit grittier than this. Phonically, the production is very appealing to the ear, it just seems like perhaps the keys could have had a bit more “swirl” kind of like “Positively 4th Street.” Overall, like the song, like the instrumentation, like the lyrics and the delivery.

Song: Heaven & Hollywood
Reviewer: Jeff Maguire
Positive Comments: Voice sounds very familiar , maybe Donna Godchaux backed by a more gnarly version of the Dead. I can definitely see some parts of this rising up out of an indie film in a dark setting when you want to give a sense of impending doom
Constructive Comments: Overall the vibe is pretty obvious but I can’t make out a lot of the actual lyrics, it might be worth enunciating them more clearly in spots.

Positive Comments: I wold love to hear vocals to this awesome piece. I don’t know if there is a version with vocals or not, but I really do enjoy the relaxing vibe I get from this track. A simple piece of work, but very effective at what it does — which puts me in a good mood. Great work and please let me know when you produce more!
Constructive Comments: The only thing that came to my mind is that the kick is a tad bit harsh and needed a little more depth in the low rather than the mid-high spectrum. Excellent work on this!

Positive Comments: Oh man I’m loving this! Very smooth sounds and a smooth voice combined with an emotional piano performance is almost too perfect of a mix. You even added in a nice little sax to add yet another reason to why I love this piece. Great vocal performance and lyrics, mate. Excellent work and please let me know when you produce new stuff!
Constructive Comments: Can’t think of anything to add. Great job.

Positive Comments: I don’t listen to this stuff much, but I thought I would give it a try anyway and I’m very glad that I did! The vocals and music work together in almost a kaleidoscope of majestic sounds. Very nostalgic with a mixture of Seal and maybe some older bands from the 80’s. I really enjoyed this and I hope to hear more from you!
Constructive Comments: Can’t think of anything to add. Great work!

Song: I Will Be With You
Reviewer: Jon Babb
Positive Comments: I’m sure you intended this and there’s really no need to mention it, but this does remind me of an 80’s love ballad. The guitar and all the instruments work together really well with the vocals — which are just as good if not better. Really love your work and I hope to hear more from you soon!
Constructive Comments: Can’t think of anything to add, so great work!
