Positive Comments: Like the vocal intro. Great idea to bring it down at the beginning and build. Good vocal. Very good country voice. The chorus has great energy. Again, very good bringing the track down at the end of the bridge. Builds nicely again.

Constructive Comments: Couldn’t quite make out the lyrics at the end of the chorus. Not sure if “find my way” or something else. Maybe “find my ways.” So, my main suggestion might be to clear up the mix in the chorus a bit. This is the reason the lyrics score is a bit lower, I couldn’t quite make out the lyrics.

Constructive Comments: This is not a style that resonants with me personally. I love Christmas music but this doesn’t put me in that frame of mind.

Reviewer: Bonfire

Positive Comments: It sounded/felt as if something had happened as a theme, and this was the immediate aftermath. Tension and fear, trepidation, being conveyed by the instruments. It was a smouldering, steadily, gathering pace momentum of wariness. the orchestration wa smoothly maintained a t a good tempo for the mood Marke tpotential as a film score, theatre piece, war game trilogy.

Constructive Comments: I think this track ould benifit from being developed further, and being part of a small group of musical sequences.Perhaps portraying differnt aftermaths? An accomplished composition and good use of instrumentation. Conveyed mood, was scene-setting and good to listen to.

Reviewer: Michael Cregan

Positive Comments: Like the vocal opening and the lead voice. Very good voice for Americana. Also, love the voices in the chorus, nice arrangement. The chorus is well understood, easy to remember and clear what the point is. voices sit well in the mix, nice and up front.

Constructive Comments: Not really a lot to say. Mostly, not how to make it good, but how to make it great. 1. the backing needs a bit more energy and forward propulsion. Slightly tame. 2. along those lines, maybe a bit more urgency or emotion in the backing and the vocal.

Positive Comments: Very nicely written and arranged country rock tune, extremely well played. Could definitely see in a 1970’s Clint Eastwood or Bert Reynolds movie.

Constructive Comments: This is a very well composed and arranged song, performances are all very strong. Only constructive criticism would be that I have a hard time making out the exact word for the kind of motel, I can get from context it’s a trucker and his truck, but I cannot identify the word. The recording sounds old, so if you get this into the right context or atmosphere it could definitely sell. The piano in the background is super.
