Positive Comments: This is a freaking incredible bit of playing. I loved this. It reminded me of Frampton’s “Penny for Your Thoughts” and Steve Howe’s “The Clap”. Really creative guitar playing/writing. Something like this could easily find its way into a licensing opportunity.

Constructive Comments: The recording. UGH. You should really re-record this. The recording doesn’t let the greatness of this shine through.

Positive Comments: The overall vibe of this really nice. Moody and sort of anticipatory. The balance of the instruments is pretty good and the recording is nice.

Constructive Comments: This just seemed too long for what it was. I kept thinking something else was going to happen after the nice moody vibe in the beginning but it just sort of stayed there for the whole thing. I would add some roominess to those congas (or bongos) that start things off. They just sounded pretty dry compared tho the other part and the overall sound.

Positive Comments: The recording sounds pretty good.

Constructive Comments: This just goes on for far too long. If you only use two chords, at least break it up a little. Do something with the rhythm or arrangement to keep it interesting. Even some changes in the drum pattern would have helped. There seemed to be a lot of lyrics but because of the effects I couldn’t understand them. Again, with so little going on musically, it would have been nice to hear the lyrics.

Positive Comments: Really nice production of this song. Really like the vocalist and the backup vocals introduced during the song. I also appreciate the unfolding of the lyrics, which don’t fall apart at any point of the production. Really well done. Some times when I review songs here of BJ, I can hardly wait until the song has ended. Not so. Song kept me intrigued to hear what was coming next musically and lyrically.

Constructive Comments: Well done piece. I don’t have any comment beyond the fact I really like this song–like the vocal treatment and lyrics.

Nicely produced song which works a strong mood and is a nice break from a lot of work that I hear in this category and on Broadjam. I found myself involved in the song and the nuances introduced throughout the production. Very, very nicely done, I really like this song and production. I love the way the artist kept me involved in a repetition of the main melody by using variations on the theme.

Constructive Comments: Can’t really complain. Nice production, well thought-out variations on the main melody. I’m trying to come up with something I did not like about the effort, and I can’t. Well done!

Positive Comments: So music is universal and though I would like to say I understand all lot the lyrics in Spanish, I don’t. But I do like the song, the music bed and a vocal that does not stray off key. Excellent range in the vocal. Nicely done!

Constructive Comments: I think the music bed could have a bit more punch in the mix (a bit more bass and lower midrange) That would be my only observation on this, a fine production. Again, I would like to compliment the vocalist’s range and steady energy in the song.
