Positive Comments: The song has a great calming presence to it . . . almost a song of hope. To me it seems to have a religious aspect to it and I could easily hear it in a worship setting of some kind. Any song that leaves me with a good feeling is always a plus and this one certainly does. Nice job!

Constructive Comments: The biggest holdback I hear is the instrument. The virtual piano you are using gives the song a choppy feel because the sustain isn’t natural. A real piano isn’t necessary but a step up in virtual instrument would make a big difference. That is the main thing holding me back from giving “excellent” grades.

Constructive Comments: the only thing in my mind….mind you, only with me was the somewhat “mushiness” of the strings.. that could be cleared up with equalization …and the placement of the clave…. thats just my take….cheers!

Positive Comments: Nice laid back piece. I liked the simplicity of the melody and the lead guitar tone. Backing tracks are uncluttered which gives the lead it’s own space. Easy listening jazz.

Constructive Comments: I like this. Just a couple of ideas: Expand on the solo licks you started at about 2:29, maybe just a little “outside” playing just to tweak the ear. You might also try a double time solo section and then return to the “2” feel. Some keyboards would be nice, too.I’ve got a ton of tunes like this that I’ve written over the years and most of them were written with just guitar and bass, so I appreciate the work that goes into putting these things together. Keep writing and playing…….
