Positive Comments: Lisa Kudrow in “Friends” and myself, have something in common – we both fell asleep at a Spinal Tap concert. So, I guess, my taste in music is different than most folks. That being said, I was definitely awake for this thrilling and intoxicating electronic experimental composition. I can see many of my playlists that would like this. I like to play this kind of music when I have that 8 hour stint, chopping vegetables for the day crew. Night after night, hour after hour, all I do is chop vegetables. It’s maddening! This music in my headphones and I can do it! This music would also be excellent for chowing down madly on a big cheeseburger – how do I know this? Because I just went yummy time with a cheeseburger while I was listening to this and I was caught up in savory beef, haunting toasty breadness and sultry cheeses. The nuns at the parish might like this too, because I know Ms. Edith is hot for this kind of stuff.

Constructive Comments: This is just a unique piece of music, the elements are balanced and everything is in place. Nothing else add here, unless you want me to. LOL Have a great holiday!

Positive Comments: I use to work at a burger-flippin’ joint many many years ago way back when burger joints were cool to hang out at. This piece of electronic music makes me have fond memories of Blue Dot Plate. I wish we had this music playing back then I know Dorothy would have liked it too…you know…drop the fries in the basket … cooking hamburgers all day at a busy greasy loveable burger joint. Anyways, I was hungry for burgers, this piece of music came on and I need to go get a yummy burger.

Constructive Comments: I wish this wasn’t so short. On the first play through I thought …. hmmm … I then got into the groove. I played this four times. I be diggin’ it. I think the violin sounding instruments could come to the fore more and add more musicality. The depth and bass are nice. Have a super duper wonderful fantastic new year!

Constructive Comments: I would add just some sound as background, some pad for example, but this just my opinion to give a song warmer vibe.

Positive Comments: A lonely man sits in a contemplative space somewhere, wondering. Pondering. Thinking. … … … He’s just sitting. Thinking. Wondering. It doesn’t end. He’s still … contemplating. Trying. Wishing. Thinking.

Constructive Comments: I’m not sure how this would be received by people who are New Age music listeners and executives who have a long history in creating in the New Age genre. There is a juvenile nature to this piece which, if intentional, you hit it spot-on if not, then I think more work needs to be done on this piece to represent what New Age means. I am in my 3rd year as an Associate Member of The Recording Academy, and have participated in 3 competitions now (two in the New Age field) heard lots of professionally made music too. This music piece, as is, has limited marketing potential. If more attention to instrumentation, expression and diversity on this would be made, then this could go into the New Age level. At present, there is nothing in the piece that calls to me, it doesn’t evoke an emotion – which is crucial in New Age music. I’m sorry to be negative. I know work goes into every music piece and it’s tough sometimes giving constructive comments. I hope you have a great holiday season!

Positive Comments: I like to listen to this kind of music while riding in my luxurious pink limousine the purple one is out of commission. Loving these tinted windows which seem to beckon those who look at us with a curiousness as we ride about the city. Who is that? One may ask standing at the curb. Don’t matter none, cuz we be chillin’ in this pink limousine.

Constructive Comments: For this genre, all the elements are present. Nice bass, nice ethereal keypad with the reverb/stereo. Not much to add here except a happy holidays perhaps.

Positive Comments: I like to listen to this kind of music when I am making gingerbread houses for the holidays. This kind of music is perfect for careful placement of all the candy gems in these big gingerbread houses we make. My husband made me mad about 30 minutes ago and I threw some dishes at the wall. I like this kind of music because it puts me in a better mood. I put this on my holiday playlist and now I have to get back to my cooking, nagging husband at it again.

Constructive Comments: This is nice holiday transition music like on the airwaves or something similar. Have a happy holiday season!

Positive Comments: The first thing I thought of when I first started hearing this beautiful instrumental, was “Welcome Home” – with the enticing pianist playing. And then came the beautiful string section and my heart just sank. My heart is still enticed with a light violin playing, welcoming me, as I continue to listen to this poignant classical orchestration that tugs at the heart.

Constructive Comments: I took off a mark because I think the piano could have used a cut in the muddy frequency range. This is very beautiful thank you for this and have a great holiday season!

Positive Comments: Go on a nice smooth musical journey that takes you to a place of blueberry blossoms perhaps. While getting into a groove, I captured mental images of dancing shapes afar, blending with a splash of jade greens. A simple flute placed next to a lightly placed guitar in the back will take you to a smooth flight over beaches of cobalt blues enshrined in a thick phased taunt of raspberry dreams, and finally with a reverse whisp of daffodils 5 feet tall and a cheese pizza slice at the mall you’ll end at the lonely blue drops of jazz guitar for grape vines growing tall.

Constructive Comments: I noticed many artifacts in this recording I am listening on THX-certified speakers – either compression issue or clashing frequencies. I took many marks off for this because it was noticeable at about 30% play volume – which is standard comfortable listening environment. All the elements are nice I think the artifacts destroy a beautiful piece of music. That nice guitar at the end is very enjoyable. Overall, there’s like two spots where the artifacts are noticeable. Most of this recording is good.

Positive Comments: I like to listen to this kind of music when I’m chopping onions or slicing up some celery. I also like this kind of music when I’m cleaning the grape juice I spilled on my cousin’s wedding dress. Yes, I’m still trying to clean that happenstance, even though it happened years ago. I also like to listen to this kind of music when I’m watching cool graphics on my Sony RayModeler 3D Holo Display! This would make good music for a lead-in to a movie scene similar to that famous “Carrie” scene. Oh great, more dresses and stains…

Constructive Comments: There is a “cheesy factor” to this arrangement noticeable in the beginning and the synth keypad too. I think the drums on this could use a more robust mixing to add more drama. My body is against the woofer and the scene you may be attempting to portray musically – isn’t coming through with a in the cabinet to create a more bold and convincing “This is big – this is real – this is building – get ready!” I like the special effects around the 2:30 mark and after. That horn coming in could use a cut in the upper range to tone the sharpness down maybe. Because this is a long piece, a break should have come in to rest the ear, then remind the listener again in the music – ok, here we go! The ending takes the listener back to cheesy. Sorry to sound negative, just remember I am just old old old old man with big hairs in me’s ears ok and I fell asleep to Spinal Tap … so, go figure.

Reviewer: FRED GROSS

Positive Comments: good guitar riffs and solid drumming. sounds like a garage band recording, 3 man group? rocking tune! definite potential here! keep rockin!!

Constructive Comments: Recording sounds old or outdated at least. Needs a serious remix. Clean up the effects on the guitar ( a bit muddy ), and bring up the bass. mostly it just needs to be brightened up.
