Positive Comments: Good for a Christmas show on Hallmark. But I just can’t see it being a hit on radio

Constructive Comments: None..I think it is supposed to be repetitive…catchy melody and the little girls singing make it a good holiday tv show quality.

Positive Comments: I don’t know if it is an overdub of voice, or if it is a choruser being used, but it muddies this guy’s good voice.

Constructive Comments: A lot of instrumentation used, where a guitar, base and drums would have sufficed. I really couldn’t understand all the words…sort all ran together.

Positive Comments: The recording quality of the acoustic guitar is very clean and clear.the uptempo sound like it would be a great background for a movie.

Constructive Comments: Bring the lead instruments up to the front…the acoustic guitar is in front, making it difficult to really hear some awesome lead picking.

Positive Comments: Good rocking tonight with shades of Elvis, Roy, Jerry Lee and the boys all looking for their baby of course.

Constructive Comments: Song is cool as beans, instrumentation is kind of rough. I might take that phase/flange off the lead guitar, overall the tune is pretty consistent with 50’s style but seems a little out of place.

Song: Out of the Gaze of the Evil Eye

Positive Comments: I got a “Brown Eyed Girl” vibe from the whole song, but it goes a bit harder, and is a bit more modern. The band Ok GO could make a song like this. The vocals blend well together, and add a lofty sadness to the happy tones of the instruments. All instruments are level and don’t step on each other’s feet. The notes are all correct, in key and in tune. You can tell there was plenty of thought put into everything. You’re tapping your foot through the whole song.

Constructive Comments: Although the song is catchy with the instrumentation being constant, strong and steady, with nice change-ups there isn’t a part that sticks with me after the song is over. To me, the vocals are a bit too forward, at first, but you get used to it quickly and start to enjoy it. After you listen thorough a few times it grows on you, and you start to hear things you didn’t hear the first time, I hope listeners give it multiple play-throughs. Overall, a great piece, I could imagine ridding through countryside on a road trip with this song playing.

Positive Comments: Catchy sound and it reminded me that music is about having fun and sharing stories. I think the vocals sound great and the instruments…NICE! It is a classic rock sound with a hint of grundge. The harmonica definitely grabs you and takes you on a train ride during the bridge. Excellent job guys it was a pleasure to listen to.

Constructive Comments: I like classic rock and I listen to it often. I think you guys are talented enough to try a little more risky approach to a more modern sound. You have every right to focus on classic rock, it is a truly more talented and skilled approach to music than is what is currently on the radio, but if the radio is what you desire it will have to be modernized.

Positive Comments: Wow…I’m in Love! This is a mix of Boss Scaggs, Blood Sweat and Tears and Huey Lewis and the News. Rock has never sounded so Bluesy since the 70’s 80’s. It didn’t lack any quality or content, instead showed how much more talent classic music offers when done well. I thought the singers vocals were stellar and just raspy enough to make me listen to the content. Bravo!

Constructive Comments: I feel like you are Kings of the industry and it might be time to incorporate another artist for a duet. Maybe a female bluesy singer to do a remake of a classic. I feel like I the band and vocalist own there space on the track but please think of using a “Tailor Swift” or another modern style musician in a duet to make this song timeless but modern in the same track.

Positive Comments: Right off the bat, the drums have a sports theme to them, it gets me in the mood to watch fight. The rhythm guitar and low keyboard notes follow the drums adding to the anticipation. The lead guitar screams out melodies, words, that I want to understand. The overlaying keys give a dark overtone, something eerie or sinister is lurking. This song gives all instruments their own time to shine.

Constructive Comments: Personally, I enjoy vocals. To me, instruments add to the stories only a voice can give. The lead guitar may be a bit too screechy at times, around 1:40 for example, but the ears adjust after a few measures. The change-ups are nice, although predictable, I feel without vocals there needs to be more variation. Overall, great instrumental, and if it was playing in an arcade , bar or stadium I’m sure the voices of the audience would fill in the words I want to hear.

Positive Comments: This is a quality beat with a very catchy arrangement and deep sound. It reminded me of Wu Tang Clan and definitely felt like I was back on the East Coast. I think there is a opportunity for this kind of track to be played before a sporting event like a Knicks game or during a Football warm up. If this beat had a East Coast vocalist on it, it be a hit.

Constructive Comments: There a a vast amount of new production effects available on the market from Fruity Loops and other companies that add that “radio” element heard on much of the current music on the radio. Adding these new drop outs and acid burns in random spots really spices up the production and adds automatic break from the monotony of a beat from beginning to end of track.
