Constructive Comments: Not really much one can in the way of suggestions, perhaps the only thing I would say is to make the ending a little smoother, the current one is a little abrupt. Other than that track is fine.

Positive Comments: This is quite a good song, reminds me of the great acts from yesteryear such as the Detroit Spinners, Four Tops, etc. Would fir easily into that genre.

Constructive Comments: The only things I could say in the form of advice is that it was a little difficult to define the title/hook, other than that this was a good production.

Positive Comments: The director’s cut calls for this scene where an important character in a serious movie plot is walking through Central Park in New York perhaps. The scene conveys moments of poignant tenderness with a fine pianist leading. The character and camera shots play on the falling snow as it lightens the heart yet the music creates a hue of blue feelings perhaps.

Constructive Comments: On the first play-through of this, I noticed mixing problems that could really be improved. This is a beautiful musical piece, but there needs to be a cut in the EQ for muddiness in the piano. On the second play-through of this, the muddiness in the piano was still noticeable. I like to play through several times to make sure what I’m saying is correct and my ears are adjusted to the musical environment. At the very end, I detected what may be a delay or reverb hangover. This is an enjoyable piece of music if you do a new mix, with some work on the EQ for the piano, this would be a hot tamale.

Positive Comments: This orchestral composition tells of a grand army or an impending battle between two blockbuster movie foes perhaps! The dramatic string and horns combined with the orchestral drums captivates you letting you know … ok … something big is happening here! Impending doom, warnings of cataclysm come to mind.

Constructive Comments: There seems to be a thin-ness in the opening string/horn/drum section that is noticeable. The drums are not being felt in the speakers – without this crucial part – this seems to fall flat some as the drama is not coming through the stereo speakers – I’m listening on THX-certified speakers. The drums around the 2 minute mark and after seem to be muddy. I think another mix on this with some power in the drums would take this piece to a new level.

We’ll be reading off some letters you have all sent in to us but before that this gentleman about to sing to you is amazing. So grab your honey stoke up the fireplace, this gentleman sings his heart about “It’s too late…”.

Constructive Comments: Thank you for this. I took off a few marks there was a small pitch problem and I think the channel with the vocal could have used just a small boost in the EQ for presence. Other than that wow!

Positive Comments: This is a nice smooth pop song with a skilled lead male singer, backed by an group of more skilled vocalists. The tempo and the vocal line are very nice. There is a tender break that continues to beckon you to hear this group’s story. I really enjoyed this.

Constructive Comments: The drums do not sound realistic or maybe slightly over compressed. At the :53 mark til 1:16. The snare also sounds like it could could use a cut in the upper frequencies EQ. The drums I just mentioned at the :53 mark disappear and aren’t heard again. I think the snare would sound better with a better EQ in the lower to give more a woody sound. Later in the piece, when everybody is singing, the snare is nice. I liked the smooth introduction. The vocals are very nice. And, always remember, these are just the opinions of a hairy feeted hobbit up in the woods, ok. 🙂

This is a nice addition to your playlist when you are feeling sad for those gone by. Grab a tissue. Highly Recommended.

Positive Comments: When I listened to this because of the combination of instruments and chords being played, it reminded me of a really nice movie clip in particular in the movie title “Thelma & Louise”, there’s the introduction where the black and white mountains of the desert slowly come into color … it’s one my favorite clips … anyway, this reminded me of that scene. Recommended!

Constructive Comments: Everything is cooking together nicely in this musical piece. Nice depth, nice clarity, nice production quality. This would also work nicely in many multi-media projects!
