Positive Comments: Like the piano work, really good. Nice pleasant piece, would fit nicely with that glass of wine on the veranda looking out on the mountain.

Constructive Comments: Difficult to make suggestions here, this is a solid, complete, relaxing piece of music, and all parts work in harmony. I would leave it just as it is. Good work.

Positive Comments: Nice piece, pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable.

Constructive Comments: Nice work, well balanced, and easy to listen too. If I had to make a constructive comment it would be to add a little more texture in places, to give it some stand out moments. Other than that good work.

Song: Excellent Day

Positive Comments: Very nice, reminds me of a song from the sixties, perhaps the Yardbirds or the Animals. Nice retro groove. Lyrics are fun to listen to. Very capable bass player. I like the guitar solo playing in the background, nice touch. The slide guitar at the intro reminds me of George Harrison.

Constructive Comments: I’m thinking this was meant to be a demo, the recording is not broadcast quality. I’d like to hear a nice professional recording of this. Mic and mix the instruments properly and this thing will come alive! Bring out the drums and tighten up the sound of the bass and you will have a very nice recording.

Positive Comments: Loved the feel of this song, brings a sense of mystery, and the strange voice about a third of the way in was very interesting. It also had parts that had that standard jazz feel. Overall a very good composition, with great variety and change.

Constructive Comments: I wouldn’t change this at all. It is a complete solid piece. Well done.

Positive Comments: Great lyrics! Great idea of singing about a child of the 80’s. I don’t think I’ve ever heard such a song, which is why I gave high marks on “Originality of Song” and “Hook”. I love the salute to “Centerfold”, and other hits of the time.Great transitions, they fit perfectly.

Constructive Comments: Nice song, but there’s a lot of loose beats and transitions. The drums around 1:00 – 1:10 are a bit out of beat, and in a few other places. Generally the song has a lot of loose passages. This is a great song, you guys need to get the energy up, practice this thing like it’s your only song, then get back to the studio and nail it down tight!

Positive Comments: Nice ambient sound recording. Guitars sound great! Nice solos at the end. I also like how the bass follows the chords with little or no fill, it reinforces the bottom end nicely. I like the lyrics, “…..re-arrange the things we do”. Nice!

Constructive Comments: Nice song, but I would bring the vocals up just a little. They seem to be buried in parts of the song. Also, personally I would use a dryer vocal effect (less reverb), this might help in bringing the vocal more front and center.

Positive Comments: love this , quirky unpredictable lyrics. beautiful guitar and violin. love it when the violin kicks in after the first verse. vocal is interesting and wonderfully off hand. very interesting song. not what you would expect from average folk music.

Constructive Comments: i really couldnt find any faults with this , the hook isnt really catchy but if the song is as intersting as this it doesnt have to be.

Positive Comments: You have a beautiful voice. The steel guitar sounds great and the overall theme was really nice. I like the idea of songs that list a series of ideas and/or questions. The hook was driven home very well and I think you did a nice job with this song.

Constructive Comments: I don’t have a lot to say here. I think you did a nice job.
