Song: About You
Reviewer: Joe Aschenmeier & Earl Rhode
Positive Comments: Very nice instrumentation, really suits the theme of the song. Lyrics sit so beautifully on the groove. Solid vocal tone. I think the song would fit on country or rock radio easily. Danceable. Nice subtle harmonica i thought i heard. Love the start and stop, well executed. “i’m in love with everything, about you” perfect.
Constructive Comments: Adding a solo as a bridge would add another dimension without taking away from the song and still a reasonable length for radio. I think it would go straight to radio as is and easily adaptable to a female singer should one of todays stars want to record it. Really had to listen twice just to find something to offer as a critique as on the first listen i just got lost in the music, nice tight presentation.
