Broadjam Artist: David Watson
Song: COME HOME
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: From the intro to the outro, this song really shines as one that has had a lot of effort put into it. The song tells a good (though sad) story and the vocals are right on target, passionately sung and expertly mixed. Instrumentation suits the song beautifully. Great use of word pictures (dress, bottle of wine, roses, etc.) Excellent production values. Totally a winner (except he lost the gal).
Constructive Comments: Song could be a little shorter for commercial purposes. There is nothing wrong with the song, but analyzer female that I am…really the song seems to be me-ism… all from the guy’s point of view. Why did she leave? Was the relationship all about HIM and maybe that’s why it failed? Enough analyzing. I ain’t no psychologist.
