Positive Comments: Very low voice takes a while to tune in. Lovely rhythm great to sway to, the accompaniment is strong, lots of repetition which works well. Truly bluesy song that you grow into enjoying as the song progresses. The singer is good but occasionally the lyrics are hard to hear. Enjoyable song, especially if you are feeling grumpy!
Constructive Comments: A little hard to hear the lyrics because of the low voice. Whilst the twice as blue hook works it doesn’t really tell a story about why you are blue? The song builds but the information is not enriched. Very cabaret style song in an intimate setting. I think possibly best heard live in a blues set. The accompaniment is strong.
