Positive Comments: This is a pretty solid song, with good structure and some decent performance elements, The lyrics are great and there’s a solid hook that could definitely get stuck in someone’s head if I heard a band perform it live. I think there’s a lot of potential in a song like this, just not in the quality of the recording.
Constructive Comments: Though there is a really good song here, the quality of the recording is really holding it back. The singer’s vocal recording sounds like it was done in one take, which could be good in some instances, but there is a lot of room for the vocal melody to grow. I would definitely recommend a little more happening in the chorus to build the song up because you have a decent hook but it doesn’t distinguish itself from the rest of the song. I recommend rerecording the song professionally and either add harmonies or some kind of layer to the chorus to pick up a bit more.
