Positive Comments: Sextet opens with a shrugged shoulders sort of feel, like, just gonna let this happen however it does. And it does. A swingin’, almost mournful 6/8 number. Cool progression, jammy feel. Nice interplay of trumpet, bone, sax beginning midway thru. Nice work.
Constructive Comments: I think this piece is begging for a longer exposition than is given here. It’s a shorty!
