Positive Comments: A very pleasant country style singer/ songwriter song. The song has an emotional punch, it is sad and moving. It is a story ending with an intention to move on, reflecting many peoples’ experiences. The guitar suits the voice the phrase ‘lost inside my heart ‘ is very good. I also liked the harmonies which did enrich the song.
Constructive Comments: There could be a bit of diversity of instrumentation or key to create tension in the listener. A strength and a weakness is that the song sounds universal it could be from any era in the past.It would be perfect to listen to on the radio on a road trip. The song is all about the singer without any attempt to build the character of his lost love.
