Song: This Is Not A Love Affair
Reviewer: David James
Positive Comments: Firstly I liked intro. The insistent vocal works fantastically against those lovely piano chords giving the tune a jazzy ambience and emotional resonance. Great melody The sound quality is excellent. A very atmospheric piece. Great for film/TV.
Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the instrumentation and arrangement because I thought the percussion track didn’t suit the tune particularly perhaps it was too busy and didn’t sound sufficiently organic for what is otherwise a soulful piece of music. Overall though I liked the track.
