Song: Born This Way
Reviewer: Randall Mark
Positive Comments: Extremely clever song about a man apparently condemned to eat a lot of junk food because he was “born this way”. Reminds me a lot of Sammy Hagar “I cant Drive 55”. Both in the style and chords as well as the content, being unable to control oneself. Brilliant guitar work and flawless production and performance. This is a really great idea for a song, awesome job here.
Constructive Comments: I thought I heard some interesting keys or piano sprinkled in early in the sing that was really awesome, I would have loved to hear some more of it, but I think it was to accentuate the lyric about trading in the “piano for a piece of cake”? I also liked the David Lee Roth type grunts between the lyrics, which I would have liked to hear more of. Just “food for thought” if you pardon the food expression. Hey, maybe that could somehow be the hook “food for thought”. Lol! Anyway great song here!
