Positive Comments: Obviously a lot of good things going on here. High degree of instrumental competence all around. Progressive. 70s ish? Somewhat on the retro end of sliding scale, which isn’t bad by any means when done well.A busy piece, but mostly works.That change at 3:40. Wanna hear more of that, where it could go! I wouldn’t mind listening to more of these guys.
Constructive Comments: The “Anytime, anyhow, anywhere I got your number” is indeed hook-ish, but the lyrics overall could use a little more color I think, even a touch of mystery perhaps? I’m not the most astute literary critic, but I’m sure the lady referenced here has some distinctive and interesting character traits that deserve at least being hinted at. A character development thing.The synth doodle at end strikes me as superfluous and unnecessary.
