Song: Such is life
Reviewer: David James
Positive Comments: Firstly, this is a beautiful song and very catchy. The ambience is superb with it’s carefree summery vibe. Lovely vocal performance. Great lyrics. The guitar solo at 2.22 is phenomenal. I can imagine Melody Gardot singing this song.
Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the arrangement because I think of some of the instruments, such as bass and drums need a slightly lighter touch to allow the subtleties of the song to come through. For example the drummer could have used brushes and an acoustic bass might work well here. Overall though, a great song.
