Positive Comments: There are a few things I like about this song. The Bass & drums kick things off maintaining a good groove, but when it gets to the mid change it steps things up a bit more and I really dig it a lot! The lyrics are written pretty well rhythmically to place diction & pronunciation perfectly with the production which is rarely done right anymore these days. I like the vocalists tone and the levels too! Just an all around well executed piece and fun! I just keep chucklin’ about the subject though enjoying the retro groove.
Constructive Comments: I’m not sure how serious I was supposed to take this song, if the artist intended it to be funny, or just tell a story about an old person tryna stay up on the dance floor, but I still liked it. Had me say “WHAT!?” through out with a chuckle, but still enjoying the groove, then the old / altered voice part had me a lil’ disappointed because it was the only thing that stood out as computer filtered to deliver a difference voice I guess to represent the old 99 person, I wish that was an actual voice, but I know thats not easy to do. Still a fun song. I’d rock this at a party somewhere if I was DJ for a wedding to give the old family a nod for fun! Well done!
