Song: Stay Here Now
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Here’s a heartfelt distance love song. The passion of the feeling comes through as honest and sincere. Nice arrangement with pleasant instrumentation. Some nice word pictures (warm blanket, glass of wine, sunlight sweeps across the floor). favorite lyric: I cannot take another day with you 1000 miles away. That is very catchy and memorable.
Constructive Comments: The vocal could use some improvement there are some pitch issues. I think the lyrics also need a little work. The “no no no” might be unnecessary and there are way too many “nows”. The melody needs a bit of variation, I think. Not sure, but it seems like you repeat the same musical phrase an awful lot in the melody.
