Broadjam Artist: Monday Funeral
Song: Are you there?
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Here is a home recording of a stream of consciousness love song. The singer is a broken individual hoping for healing in love. Passionately sung with plenty of angst, accompanied by piano with some background ambiance from the synthesizer. Favorite lyric: Me falling while you’re standing there. Another: Spider tangled in your web. Very creative.
Constructive Comments: Probably the most glaring thing that needs work is the vocals and the way the vocals marry with the piano. There’s a lot that sounded “off” to me. This being a home recording, perhaps you were just wanting to get this recorded without polish. If that is the case, please forgive the “low” review. Keep on writing! You have some creative lyrics in there!
