Positive Comments: Here’s a song of appeal: Would you be my girl? Could I be your man? Then it switches to a father/child. So this could possibly be a “proposal song” to a woman and her child…for them to become a family? Instrumentation/chord progression is easy-going and pleasant. Vocal is nicely performed. Nice production lovely female background vocals. I really like the verse about “Would you be my child?”
Constructive Comments: The female background vocal says the same thing “be a better man”. To me that’s a little problematic. Personally, I thought the jump from the woman to the child to be a bit strange, but I followed it. Is that what you really meant in the song? I am curious.
