Positive Comments: I’m feeling the Pixies meet the Ramones meets someone witty and honest. What I really like is how clear and understandable the lyrics are!!!! To me, this says you have confidence in what you’re writing about and who you are. And God bless that, because most tend to hide what they’re writing about and have zero clarity. The sound is very clear and distinct, the arrangement works, there is nothing I would change because I get the sense you know who you are and it came across well in the Recording.
Constructive Comments: I’m listening on my Chromebook speakers – and that might not help….but, the repeated “trigger wanted” (not sure what the words are) may be a titch loud in the mix. Also, after the song builds, I’m imagining one voice singing up a 3rd, and by the end, maybe screaming the “trigger wanted line.” You could keep them panned, but that would be cool. Also, on the refrain, what would a background vocal that is sustained add? I’m thinking of the song Distance equals rate times time by the pixies. For whatever reason, that’s what I was hearing with your track.
