Positive Comments: Lyrically strong, this song tells the story of a guy who got burned, but learned from his relationship fail. Brimming with honesty, it ends with a hopeful, positive message. Very sincere work. Nice work on the bridge.
Constructive Comments: Although the lyrics are very good, the melody and delivery need a lot of work. It kind of just ambles along…needs more melodic oomph or something. Definitely some pitch issues in the vocals. If you are serious about marketing your work, a professional demo would probably be an avenue you might want to try. I don’t think this song is quite ready for that yet. Work on that last line. “I am prepared to feel belief again.” That line just doesn’t work. People say, “I am prepared to believe again.” But you don’t “feel belief”.
