Positive Comments: This song definitely captures the feel of the death on the cross. Lyrics and melody meld well. The vocalist also captures the folk style well. Arrangement is good. It is my opinion that we can never have too many songs about the crucifixion.
Constructive Comments: Some things that would tighten up this song in my opinion would be to review the rhyme structure and make sure all verses have the same. Right now there are no rhymes in the 3rd and 4th section and my ear really wanted to hear some. I’d recommend a rewrite on those items and would love to hear it again after changes are made.
