Song: I’M A BE ALRIGHT
Reviewer: B.Still
Positive Comments: Nice one Sam. It put a smile on my face. I really hate to nitpick a great song like this one. In the end it’s simply a matter of taste. I’m primarily a keyboard player, and kudos to your use of the honky tonk piano and cool organ. I also loved the bouncing bass, and your voice does have an interesting and unique flavor…work s great with the tune!
Constructive Comments: There was very little to critique here. As for market potential, I do feel it has potential. I’ve heard a lot of songs like it…so my thinking was it needed a bit more originality, but then as I said, It’s only a matter of taste. One thing I felt needed a little bit of work was the high end. I found myself wanting to hear more sizzle, especially on the drums and piano. It seemed a little bit muted in the 6-10k range, but overall a great job!
