Positive Comments: This is a pretty, smooth, country song all the way. The lyric is well written. The singer has a smooth voice and always in tune. The instrumentation is nice. The recording is nice and clean, all instruments are properly balanced with the vocal in front. This is a song that subtly says that you have to keep on keeping on through the rough and trying times.

Constructive Comments: This song is so nice that what I have to point out may seem a little nit picky – but there are no major things. In the first verse there is a mix of points of view. “..I can’t explain..”, “..we’re never shown”. “..You fall in love..”, “..I don’t let it break my heart”. The points of view should be consistent so as not to confuse the listener. Also, I hate to say it, but the rhyme of heart/apart is ..ah.. really well used. In verse two there is a mixture of tenses. Keeping tenses uniform is another way to make the song tight. “Sometimes it WILL all work out, sometimes it won’t.” Also there is another instance of points of view – “..we’ve got to learn”, “..your fingers burned”. These are small items in the big scheme, but they are important to the cohesiveness of any song. To make a song lyric tight, keep the points of view and tenses consistent. This helps to guide the listener through your song and not confuse him/her.This is a lovely song overall and I would like to hear more of your music.
