Song: READY AS I’LL EVER BE
Reviewer: Mike Nicholson
Positive Comments: Cool retro bar room vibe. Nice vocal. Love the harmonies. Sounds a bit mid-rangey. Could use a mix with the vocal sitting deeper in the track. Needs real drums, but a fine demo. Slick! I like that it gets right to the song without mucking about. Beer drankin’ music!
Constructive Comments: Ditch the drum machine. Watch those errant cymbal crashes. Maybe some sexy mastering or use the awesome vocals and guitars as a base to add real drums and Hammond organ or even horns would rock this up to the next level. On the right track.
