Song: We Don’t Need Another War
Reviewer: Bob Birthisel
Positive Comments: Striking song that could easily be about what’s happening in the streets of the US right now. The vocal works extremely well in this setting, and the sparse arrangement and lyrics make this feel more like Folk than Country. But category doesn’t matter, this is just a really excellent song. Reminds me of some of the great protest songs of the 60s and 70s but with a current sound.
Constructive Comments: If you took this exact arrangement and added bass guitar to give it some depth, it would round out the sound big-time. That might help you with consideration for TV/film licensing as well as any radio play. Well done.
