Positive Comments: I absolutely love the lyrics and premise of this song. Very well written! Very relatable and well said. The music is lively and upbeat, I especially like the fiddle in the background, a nice touch, adds a kind of old country dimension. Vocals are good, voice matches well to the song and overall feel, good tone and pitch. This is a great song.
Constructive Comments: With such awesome lyrics I think the melody/chord changes could be tweaked here and there to make it more catchy, more defined, easier to remember. In the chorus the chord progression and melody kind of sounds like a pre-chorus leading into something and the last line, the colt 45 line, is where it ends. I honestly think this is an excellent song and is worth considering working on it to make it stronger. Don’t get me wrong, it’s already great, but I think you could make it smashing!
