Positive Comments: This very original song put a big smile on my face. It’s not often that you hear a fun motivational song in this genre. Starts out with a creative percussion/harmonica intro that captivated me instantly. Lyrics were a delight to listen to because they were so fresh, original and witty. There’s a ton of great wisdom in this song and it’s presented so perfectly…along with a repetitive, singable chorus. Favorite lyrics: Fail to plan plan to fail. Defrost your Brain. Good luck Fairy. Mix really worked for me in my headphones.
Constructive Comments: Sounds more like folk/blues to me. Work on matching up your vocals on the bridge. Listen for a bass note that might be out of tune slightly. Work on the abrupt ending. If you want to make the song more “commercial” shorten it by eliminating some of the harmonica instrumentals. All that being said, you can just keep it the way it is, but I’m trying to be honest and constructive. I definitely want to hear more of your songs! Mrs. Kate
