Song: It’s A Lie
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Well there was Elijah, Elisha, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and then there’s this guy, a modern day prophet proclaiming the truth without holding anything back. Exposing the lies of this world in such a creative way! This is one of the best songs I have heard on BJ in a long time. Every word is a sword. One that cuts between the soul and the spirit. The question is: Is anyone listening? Great guitar work (both of them). Vocal is perfect. I like the way you double-paired the verses, then sang the chorus. Excellent writing! Fantastic performance!
Constructive Comments: I can’t wait to get to your profile and read more about you. Just wondering: where have you sung this song, and did they kick you out? The church crowd would listen…I wonder what would happen at an open mike? Or a festival? Anyway, may God give you courage to sing it strong in many places, and may He convict hearts to ditch the lie and seek the truth. Whoever you are, I’m a fan! Mrs. Kate
