Positive Comments: The track is mixed very well and the opening instrumentation sets a great tone and encourages the ears to stay tuned for something good! Nive solid guitar work, clean no overplaying really nice!
Constructive Comments: The song could easily be a five-star track but in my opinion, could use a couple of arrangement adjustments. The first verse lyrically is not as strong as the later verses. I might just move that verse to the middle and bury it a little or go for a rewrite. The other verses are cool and sound well thought out. The first chorus or “prechorus” (tell me why, tell me why) would sound better using the same vocal technique as the real chorus or eliminated altogether and replaced with a guitar lick mimicking the chorus melody, just something to tease the chorus. The song drags a bit when the guitar changes the rhythm in the last section. It really isn’t necessary as the hook is very excellent and holds up all on its own. A suggestion would be to drop the guitar out of the mix in this section and set a dynamic using only bass and drums under the chorus. Then a pick slide on the four count and let ‘er rip! Great job with this track!!
