Positive Comments: It sounds good, a bit “happier” than the lyrics submitted would suggest but that can work sometimes. I would flesh out the lyrics, the music is good though.

It feels sad obviously, but I almost get a feel of some of the Matchbox 20 lyrics Rob Thomas was writing in the second line. I would try to develop a title/hook of that idea with the last line after the couplet above being something like “But when the game is love, the stakes are so high/If you miss you chance, you may never get another try”. Something along those lines to continue the lyrical idea.
