Positive Comments: I enjoyed this, it’s well sung and has a nice melancholic, wistful feel to it.Nice rhythm guitar playing and slide guitar and 2nd guitar licks for emphasis in the background.
Constructive Comments: I think to take it to the next level for me I’d like more variety, some harmonies would be nice. A bit more contrast in the middle 8. The lyrics are good, just a few phrases that don’t quite hit it for me too in terms of content. The recording is very reverby, I mean that’s fine but maybe puts it too far away from me even for a wistful piece.I think you’ve got something and the feel suits a spare arrangement but to really grab me personally, I want a touch more variety.
