Positive Comments: Dug the vibe a lot. Song had good chords, solos, and lyrical content. I could picture this one getting reproduced into a monster. As it is now? It is in demo form… But I can hear the potential here.
Constructive Comments: Engineering is all out. I’m hearing noise floors. Vocals could be cleaner as well. All of your instruments could be fluffed and highlighted better. Get some compression and expansion on your guitars, bring them up and slap a stereo imager on acoustic. Get that kick polished to match your snare. Globalise effectsthat way everything down to the reverb is uniform. After you bounce the mix? Take a look at the stereo master and see if you can’t master it up a little.
