Broadjam Artist: Bobby Caputo
Song: If You’re Leavin’, Say Goodbye (Brandmeier/Caputo)
Reviewer: Pete Papageorge
Positive Comments: Very nice overall. An affecting melody, a ‘hurting’ story that’s relatable, very good production and arrangement. I also like the singer’s voice, and his nuanced singing is effective.
Constructive Comments: I don’t think the song has any major flaws. The only suggestion I have would be to add another voice, which happens later in the song but could happen incidentally in harmony earlier. I also think the writer could shorten the title to “Say Goodbye” and it would still carry the same effect.
