Broadjam Artist: Lonnie G
Song: My Baby Loves Me
Reviewer: David James
Positive Comments: The song has great swagger and attitude. The instrumentation is spot on..and the tone of each instrument is perfect. Excellent guitar tone whilst the insistent keyboard works as a kind of glue holding the piece together. Nice solo at 2.30. The vocalist is just right for this song.
Constructive Comments: Perhaps the drum track could be more varied I think a few fills would drive the song. The song has a blues feel obviously, were you to introduce some jazzy elements I could imagine this as a Steely Dan track.
