Positive Comments: This is a nice recording. The song writing is very minimalist with the lyrical content delivering the message in an tight effective way. “Reason to walk out the door” is the key lyric. The use of the piano and organ tones are effective within the song construct. The funk bass guitar line supports the drum groove.
Constructive Comments: My only suggestions are of a technical nature and are in no way a distraction to the artist. Some of the pitch correction on the vocal track is readily transparent (not auto-tune – pitch correction). I would love to hear some additional space with the music, i.e., use of another instrument such as an electric guitar. All-in-all, a great track.
