Positive Comments: This song has a retro vibe that I kinda like. The singer has good emotion and grit in his delivery. I like the concept of getting on a Greyhound. Good instrumentation for this Texas country feel. I’d like to hear a little more steel guitar in the mix.
Constructive Comments: It seems like an inconsistent lyric – If you are the one getting on the bus… why is she walking out your door. If she left you… why are you leaving? I like the retro feel, but that could be a problem for some applications because it sounds like a dated mix. A little too much reverb on the vocal for today’s sound. This is a good idea for a song but may need a bit of reworking for current markets.
