Positive Comments: The intro makes a big impact. The instrumentation is excellent. I love the electric piano I always do. I like the vocal delivery very much. Great change for the chorus. Melodically superb. A very engaging song. Very clever use of taped effects…children playing, telephone dial etc. Great sound quality.
Constructive Comments: The lyrics are very strong, original and powerful, but ironically that’s why I’ve marked down the market potential in that they are so idiosyncratic that they’re unlikely to appeal to music supervisors who will be looking for generic, formulaic lyrics for film/TV. I love the song however.
