Positive Comments: It’s a pretty well done cover, but it is a cover. If I was in a bar and heard you place this I’d be very happy. Hearing it here is a little different. You may not like the 1’s I gave you, but how do I rate those things as above a 1 when you aren’t responsible for those things? You didn’t write it, didn’t arrange it any differently then I have heard before, didn’t change the instrumentation from what I heard before, didn’t write the hook, and didn’t write the lyrics. As a reviewer you put me in a place where whatever rating I give you I cannot win, I can only upset you.

Constructive Comments: While this was well performed generally, this version seemed a little slower in tempo then other versions I have heard before and it seemed to drain some life from the song. Also the recording could have been better, the music felt very far off. The vocals were good, but the vocalist is clearly trying to sing like Eric Clapton. Nothing wrong with that, a lot of singers copy other singers, but performing a song he did so well doesn’t exactly help you stand out as a musician. I guess I am not entirely sure why you recorded this song and not entirely sure what you thought this recording would accomplish for you.
