Positive Comments: I like how the song builds up into a beautiful blend of instruments. I really like the acoustic guitar playing, very well executed and the feel is there too. There are some fantastic elements within this song, the descending sections in the chorus is especially nice. I dig the synth sounds chosen, retro but blending well. I know this is the instrumental tracks for a vocal song so I won’t even ask… if not maybe it should be..
Constructive Comments: The mix of the song, although very nice to listen to, it is out of balance. The drums are barely audible. Drums and bass are your song’s foundation and they should kind of sound like one instrument. I can hear that the drums are playing a nice pattern so when they are louder all the other parts and instruments are going to sound a lot better. First thing in mixing pop and modern music is you have to get your rhythm section balanced. Actually I think a basic 2 & 4 drum part would be nice with this song drums although your groove is pretty dope!
