Lyrics urge listener to take a chance on love “this could be the first day of the rest of your life”, very encouraging lyrics. There’s also the escape clause if things don’t work out…an interesting twist in the song.
Constructive Comments: For some reason, it seemed like the lyrics/vocal were embattled with the instrumentation. They didn’t “match” to me. Maybe it’s just because I don’t “get” jazz.
