Positive Comments: It’s an interesting mix genres with a good potential. A lot to work to do to bring out the real potential of this nice song.
Constructive Comments: The first thing I notice is that the saxes are too up front in the mix and sound quite fake. The way the song is mixed dates it in the ’90s. Also, it’s strange to have the snare and bass drum buried in the ambient and far but the hiHat up front. The vocal performance is not up to par with the rest of the production. Also, the form is confusing, I lost track of the sense of the song.
