Broadjam Artist: Greg Lambert
Song: Rock and Roll (Instrumental)
Reviewer: Jeff Roberts
Positive Comments: A very competent guitar strut with a Smoke on the Water feel (that organ is pure John Lord!). In the middle section the guitar solo starts to cut loose and show off some healthy chops!
Constructive Comments: You gotta get a better drum track and pan it properly–you’ve got it all coming in from the left side. The lead phrasing is very boxed into 8ths on the beat until you break into the wah section, and there it’s pretty hot! This really generic unfortunately. In 1972 it would have scored tons of hippie chicks though.
