Broadjam Artist: MGB
Song: ICE MARCH (instrumental)
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: If this is really jazz, I’d call it “Battle-Jazz.” It’s the first time I ever heard in this genre that reminds me of Celtic or Irish music. I love the melody line and the majestic-ness of this track! It seems to tell a story and builds so nicely. Perhaps it could make its way into a movie. Obviously whoever created it knew what they were doing and did an amazing job. The hook is extremely memorable. Fantastic job!
Constructive Comments: The ending just…ended! Why not have it go out a bit more beautifully, gradually…something. It was too anti-climactic for the song,in my opinion. I am not a jazz aficionado. Is this really jazz? What makes it jazz? The instrument at the beginning reminded me of a harmonica…was it really a horn?
